Almost Half-A-Million For A Video Game?

A thrift store is making big money off of an unopened copy of the Legend of Zelda game. Goodwill auctioned off the prize of an original 1987 game for the Nintendo Entertainment System that someone had donated. It sold for more than $411,000!

The game cost about 50 dollars when it debuted. It appears the person who bought it back then left it in storage for 35 years before donating it a local Goodwill in Connecticut.

Would you really spend that on a video game? I guess it's similar to other collectibles. Like sports trading cards and comics.
