For the third year, “Readers Digest” is on the hunt for “The Nicest Place in America” and they’ve just released the 50 finalists for the title. The finalists were chosen after readers sent in over 1,000 stories about places they felt people deserved to be honored for their kindness and civility. Then a panel of judges whittled it down to 50, one for every state. America will now choose the overall winner, with voting now open, and the winner will get a cover story in the November issue.
