Crime fighting robot is patrolling the streets of a California town

Police in Huntington Park, California, are fighting crime with a robot that strolls sidewalks, using a 360-degree camera to look for bad guys.

The robot -- which they’re calling “HP Robocop” -- will keep an eye on areas such as parks and city buildings.

HP RoboCop has also been programmed to say things like “excuse me” and “good day to you” when it crosses paths with actual humans.
