Bruce Springsteen Jams At Small Cancer Benefit Show

It's kinda cool that Bruce Springsteen's first show since his Broadway production ended would be a surprise appearance at a benefit for the Kristen Ann Carr Fund inside the Tribeca Grill Loft in NYC this past Saturday night.

He got on stage with famed photographer Danny Clinch's Tangier Blues Band and did a couple of popular blues numbers, including "Rockin' Pneumonia and Boogie Woogie Flu" and "Down the Road Apiece."(above)

The event was to raise money to fight the soft tissue cancer sarcoma in honor of Kristen Ann Carr, the late daughter of rock journalist Dave Mash and Springsteen's co-manager, Barbara Carr. Kristen died of the disease in 1993 at the age of 21.
