My daughter, Cassy, and I recently had a mother/daughter weekend in Branson. We decided NOT to do the things we usually do in Branson and to try new things, instead. We rented a pontoon boat one afternoon to spend time on Tablerock Lake -- an excellent idea, by the way. You can rent them for 2 hours, 4 hours, or the whole day. Because it was October, there wasn't much traffic on the lake, which was really nice! That's the Showboat Branson Belle in front of us. We went on it several years ago and it just wasn't our thing!
On our final day, we visited Top of the Rock Lost Canyon Cave and Nature Trail. Our friends, Dave and Diane, recommended it, telling us we HAD to do the golf cart tour. so, we did! It was awesome!! There's a paved trail for the carts that takes you past amazing rock formations, lots and lots of waterfalls, Amish-built bridges, beautiful views of Tablerock Lake, and the Lost Canyon Cave. Here are some of the photos we took.
I even took a short video. Here's a moment of peace and tranquility for you.
